An International Student Identity Card (ISIC) is an internationally accepted student ID card and proof of student status abroad. It offers student discounts, mobile phone and calling card packages, emergency travel insurance, and an emergency help line. Rice students studying abroad are not required to purchase an ISIC, but may choose to purchase one independently from the ISIC website. Some programs include an ISIC card; contact your program for further information.
